The Studio, designed by an artist, juts up out of the pines on the oceanfront in Manzanita, Oregon. Standing tall and separate from The LightHouse, The Studio brings the feeling of spaciousness and privacy, providing a space for retreat or reconnecting.
The first floor amenities include kitchen area with dishes, glassware, utensils, a small refrigerator, etc. Everything for a nice meal.

Also on the first floor is a small wood-burning stove. Coupled with the passive solar design of The Studio and electric wall heaters, the wood heat can take the chill out of those cool coastal evenings and provides comfort and security during dramatic winter storms. Next to the stove is a window seat that doubles as a bed with a view of the ocean surf beyond.

On the ocean-facing side of the upstairs, there is a seating area which overlooks Manzanita Beach and the Pacific Ocean. Once you sit down, you may never get up! We have people call us and ask if the "one with the chairs" is available. There is a skylight and vaulted ceilings and the atmosphere of a ship's cabin, complete with porthole.
There is a step-up to the double-sized platform bed for a wonderful night's rest. A window opens to let you breathe the ocean air and hear the surf. The view from the bed is of the beach and the ocean beyond.
There is a small bathroom with a sink, shower and toilet.
This cottage is intended for one or two people, but
can accommodate three.
